children to the wide array of sources that inform modern UU congregations, these include: UU &

traditions, indigenous wisdom, and an inclusive post-colonial approach to all world religions,
spiritual traditions, and diverse cultures.
The Youth DRE will communicate with families and the congregation regularly, ensure
appropriate supervision of children and youth, and develop programming responsive to current
needs.
