Speaker: Pat Smith

Pat Smith became a Unitarian Universalist 21 years ago when she and her husband moved to Lubbock, Texas. She served on the Board of the lay-led congregation there for four years, including two as President. As co-chair of the Sunday Services Committee for 5 years, Pat worked with other members to invite guest speakers and ministers with a variety of backgrounds and perspectives. In 2010, she began attending regional and national UU events, including leadership trainings, conferences, and General Assemblies. Before retiring, she was a statistician, working in academics, industry, and as a consultant.
