José graduated from Georgetown High School, earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and his master’s degree in International Relations from Troy State University.  As a life-long resident of Taylor, he has played a significant role in bringing attention to the health, political, minority and empowerment issues in East Williamson County for the last three decades.
