Barbara Jordan poignantly said that in the Preamble to the Constitution, “I was not included in that ‘We, the people.”  In the past several years scores of ignored and oppressed groups of people have organized, strategized, and mobilized in we the people” movements – Black Lives Matter, United We Dream, #Metoo, # Nomore, The Poor Peoples Campaign, and most recently March For Our Lives.  Our national and state governments look bleak right now but take heart –  the times are a changin!  Plus, the majority of these are youth-led emergence movements.  Will our UU movement and congregations be receptive, engaged and transformed by #WethePeople?
