This Sunday is our fourth summer All Ages Service. While we typically have several all Ages Service every year, the summer one is extra-special. In past years, children have attended a two-day theater camp at church to discuss, create, and rehearse the service. Things are of course different this year, but we are still going to make it happen, virtually! Our theme this year is Bravery and our San Gabriel kids will share with you their thoughts and energy about that…we may even have some special guests, too. As I say at the beginning of every All Ages Service….we might hear a little more noise and see a little more movement than on a typical Sunday! I hope you come to this service with of course a wondering mind and loving heart, and experience how our UU faith is blossoming in our youth and children.
I am grateful for all the help we are receiving to make this service. Many, many thanks to all the parents and guardians who have pitched in as we translate this service to a virtual space. Many thanks to “Mr. Spoon” for his guidance, theatrical expertise, and love for our SGUUF kids. Jacquie Karash went above and beyond to help us be able to sing together. And thank you to Austin Mayes for sharing his musical gifts in this service. See you on Sunday!
In faith and community,
Corinna
