Meghan Stabler is a highly experienced business executive with a background  in all aspects of marketing, product management, strategy and digital transformation. Her background includes startup, pre and post IPO, turnaround and enterprise SaaS software firms. From cybersecurity to ecommerce, digital to mobile, Meghan has touched every aspect of todayâs technology landscape. She currently serves as VP, Global Product Marketing and Communications for BigCommerce, one of the worldâs leading ecommerce companies. Meghan was previously a Sr. Advisor at CA Technologies (acquired by Broadcom) and has held key leadership roles in several technology firms over the past two decades.
Meghan is a Party Leader and Elected Official (PLEO) after her appointment to the DNC Platform Standing Committee in January 2020 by Chairman Tom Perez. In 2019 Meghan became the first transgender member of Planned Parenthoodâs National Board of Directors serving on both the Planned Parenthood Federation (c3) and Action Fund (c4) Boards. She also serves on the National Board of Directors for the Democratic Majority for Israel and is a Vice President of the Lesbian and Gay Police Officers Association.
In 2014 Meghan was the first transgender woman to receive the prestigious Working Mother of the Year (WMOTY) award. And in 2015, Meghan was recognized as a MAKERS awardee; an elite group of women impacting change on society and industry.
Meghan recently served 8 years on the National Board of Directors for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), â the Americaâs largest LGBT civil rights organization where she co-chaired the Boardâs C4 Public Policy Committee, served on the Strategic Planning Committee (2) and Presidential Search Committee (1). She continues to serve on HRCâs Business Council focusing on LGBT workplace equality. She plays an active consulting role in Federal, State & Local politics advising several Democratic campaigns and candidates on strategies, positioning and message. She served on President Obamaâs National LGBT Policy Committee and helped organize the first LGBT White House luncheons with the First Lady, Michelle Obama. She was elected as a Texas delegate to the DNC both 2012 and 2020 and has served on the DNC National LGBT Committee. Meghan has also served on the Board for Directors of Athlete Ally (2 years), Board of Directors for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (8 years), AETNA Healthcare Advisory Group (2 years), AIDS Foundation Houston executive board (4 years).
Meghan uses her no-nonsense approach to advise a number of international governments, including the US Senate and House of Representatives. Meghan has been actively sought by State legislators across the USA to provide expert testimony on LGBTQ employment-, housing-, workplace- discrimination and relationship recognition.
