In the not-so-long-ago-past, the phrase “March Madness” in this country referred to college basketball playoffs. This year, March Madness is something entirely different.  Our world has been turned upside down — not only our world, but the entire world seems to have gone mad.  We have little to go on in terms of guidance about what we should do.  There is no template.  There are few instructions from times past.  We are in uncharted territory.  What is the meaning of covenant at such a time?  Could we use the madness all about us to our advantage?  If so, how would we do that?  And how might that relate to being in covenant with each other?  Join me this weekend at your leisure — and even in your leisure-wear! — for some thoughts about being mad.
