What is leadership? Can it be learned or is it something we are born with? Both may be true. The word leadership is difficult to define. Like that well-known answer to the question, “What is pornography?”, you know it when you see it. Or, more accurately, in this case, when you don’t see it. Similar to trying to define the words Unitarian Universalism, it is easier to define leadership in terms of what it is not, rather than in terms of what it is. Join me for this week’s service as I explore what I know and believe about leadership and the importance of us all being anti-racist leaders for as long as it takes to get from “Them” to “Us”. Not coincidentally, the Fellowship’s Annual Meeting is Sunday, June 21.
