For 10 years, patriotic citizens of Williamson County have been asking the county commissioners to address the Confederate Monument that stands on the county courthouse grounds in downtown Georgetown. County Judge Gravell was to appoint a commission to study the issue and make recommendations. Here we are, 3 years later, and still waiting for that commission to be formed.
