FY 2024-2025 Budget, Trustees, and Bylaws change on agenda
San Gabriel Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will hold an Annual Meeting in the sanctuary starting at 11:45 a.m. after the Sunday service on June 9. The proposed agenda for the meeting includes approval of: 1) the 2024-2025 fiscal year budget, 2) members of the Board of Trustees for the coming fiscal year, and 3) a minor update to the Bylaws. The 2024-2025 fiscal year starts July 1, 2024.

2024-2025 Budget: A proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year is ATTACHED HERE. The proposed budget was developed by the Finance Team and approved by the Board of Trustees at their meeting on May 23. A balance sheet is also PROVIDED HERE to provide more information to members about the assets and liabilities of the Fellowship.
Board of Trustees: A proposal for the members of the Board of Trustees is included in the Nominating Team report which is ATTACHED HERE. The proposal of the Nominating Team was approved by the Board at their meeting on May 23.
Bylaws change: A minor revision to the Bylaws is ATTACHED HERE to update the official address of the Fellowship since we now have a secure, locking mailbox at the sanctuary building and are no longer using the PO box on Williams Drive.
Voting members: A Voting Member is defined as a Member who has participated in Fellowship activities and made a financial contribution of record to the Fellowship within the past twelve months.
Mail-in ballots: All members are encouraged to attend and participate in the Annual Meeting. Members who are not able to attend in-person may vote by submitting a mail ballot which will be shared prior to the Annual Meeting. The mail ballot may be sent by email, U.S. mail, or personal delivery and must be received by the Board prior to the meeting on June 9.
Zoom participation: An option to participate in the Annual Meeting by Zoom will be provided for those who cannot attend the meeting in-person. A link for a Zoom option will be sent to members prior to the June 9 meeting.
Quorum: In order to conduct business, there must be a quorum of members in attendance in-person or by Zoom or voting by mail ballot. A quorum is defined in the Bylaws as 30 percent of voting members.
