Can you volunteer just 1 night a month?
A freeze-night shelter in the downtown area of Georgetown is being identified to help shelter those living in their cars or outside in the elements. We are looking for volunteers from local churches to help staff the shelter day or night. We also can use donations of tents, as often the shelter has to close at 5:30am and clients need to leave the premises for the day, despite the inclement weather.
