If you are not on a committee, here are some opportunities for you to support the SGUU Fellowship:
1. Musician. We have one flautist, one clarinet and one keyboard player. Do you have musical talent (instrumental or voice) that would add to our services? Contact Peter Geiger.
2. Lay Leader. This person leads the service, introduces guests, makes announcements, explains joys and concerns, lights and extinguishes our candle (there is a script). Contact Shirley Wentworth.
3. Social Justice. This committee selects programs, materials, projects offered by our national organization or finds suitable causes (such as the prison at Hutto) for our organization. Call Sue Bailey.
4. Social Committee. People needed to help plan social events. Contact Barbara Horning.
5. Membership Committee. This committee welcomes members, friends and guests to each meeting. We need greeters. Contact Frances Rieser.
6. Program, worship, social and membership committees all need a few more members. Contact the individual Committee Chairs to join.
7. Newsletter writer and newsletter technician. This can be one or two people. Is writing your specialty? Do you know how to create a newsletter on a computer? Contact Gayle Twiname or Jean Erdenberger.
8. A Sun City resident to send our monthly announcements to be put into the Sun Rays magazine. Contact Mike Bailey.
9. Are you a realtor or former realtor or just like to look at property? We need to be looking at property to rent or buy. Call Gene Ellis.
10. San Gabriel UU is always open to new social, educational, fun or spiritual activities. If you have an idea send me an email or attend a Board Meeting to present your idea. Contact Bruce Barker at brucegbarker@yahoo.com.
